Patient Care Technician for CNA

Must  Be Experience  CNA

Patient Care Technicians (PCT) perform delegated nursing functions that require a higher level of technical ability and skill, including: venipuncture, specimen collection, IV therapy, basic EKG, and advanced CNAs skills. PCTs can work in a hospital setting or urgent care facility.

The Certified Patient Care Technician certification is issued by the National Healthcareer Association(NHA).  The CPCT exam will test your knowledge on a variety of topics including, but not limited to: how to provide basic patient care, EKG readings and monitoring vital signs, and performing phlebotomy procedures.
